NAMIT KUMAR J. (Oral) Prayer in this writ petition filed by the petitioners under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, is for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari, for quashing the advertisement dated 29.08.2024 (Annexure P-7). Further a writ of mandamus has been sought for directing respondents No.1 to 5 to fill up the nine regular vacancies of Safai Sewak/Sweeper amongst the petitioners on the basis of first preference. Further prayer has been made to restrain the respondents from filling up the nine regular vacancies/contract vacancies of Safai Sewak/Sweeper during the pendency of the present writ petition. After arguing the case for some time, learned counsel for the petitioners wishes to withdraw the present petition. Dismissed as withdrawn.
