Versus
STATE OF PUNJAB ... Respondent CORAM: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE HARNARESH SINGH GILL
Present:
Mr. Kunal Jain, Advocate for Mr. Ajay Singh Ghangas, Advocate for the petitioner. Mr. Ajay Pal Singh Gill, DAG, Punjab.
**** HARNARESH SINGH GILL, J.(Oral) On 20.04.2022, learned State counsel has sought time to take instructions as to whether the petitioner has surrendered before the concerned authorities or not.
Today, learned State counsel submits that, owing to Covid19 pandemic situation, the petitioner was granted interim bail, which was extended from time to time, but till date, he has not surrendered. There is no counter to the aforesaid submission made by the learned State counsel from the side of the learned counsel for the petitioner. He, however, admits that the petitioner was granted interim bail till 04.03.2022.
Since, the petitioner has not surrendered back till date, despite withdrawal of the Covid-19 instructions, he is not entitled to any further relief.
Dismissed.
