The petitioner has approached this Court seeking grant of anticipatory bail in a case registered vide FIR No.92, dated 7.9.2019, Police Station Bhikhiwind, District Tarn Taran, under Sections 506, 353, 186, 323, 148, 149 IPC and Sections 25 and 27 of Arms Act. 2.

At the time of issuance of notice of motion on 18.10.2019, the petitioner had been directed to join investigation. However, when the matter was taken up again on 13.8.2021 i.e. after almost 2 years, the State counsel informed that he has not joined investigation. CRM-M-44373-2019 (O&M) - 2 - was afforded to the petitioner to appear before the Investigating Officer on 8.9.2021 and the matter was adjourned to 29.9.2021 i.e. today.

Learned State counsel has informed that even despite the last opportunity afforded to the petitioner on the last date, he has not joined investigation.

In view of the aforestated position, this Court does not find any ground for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. The petition, as such, is dismissed.
