The present appeal pertains to the year 2014 and the matter is still at the stage of preliminary hearing inasmuch as notice in the application for condonation of delay as well as notice of motion is yet to be issued. On 29.01.2015 notice was issued to the appellant as none was appearing on his behalf. Thereafter, on 06.08.2015, Ms. Manjeet Kaur, Advocate had put in appearance for Mr. Karanjit Singh, Advocate for the appellant. Thereafter the matter had been listed on numerous dates and none appeared on behalf of the appellant. On 11.07.2017 proxy counsel appeared on behalf of the appellant and had sought an adjournment. The case was adjourned to 11.10.2017. After 2017 the case was adjourned on numerous dates by order. On the previous date i.e. 19.01.2024 none appeared on behalf of the appellant and the case was adjourned. Today, again, none has put in appearance on behalf of the appellant. It appears that the appellant is not interested in pursuing the present appeal.

In view thereof, this Court is left with no other option but to dismiss the present appeal for non-prosecution. 3.
