The present petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking protection of his and his family's life and liberty at the hands of private respondents No. 5 to 10.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that respondent No. 5 is the wife of the petitioner, who is admittedly in a promiscuous relationship with respondent No. 6, who was his friend. 3.

During the course of arguments, learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that, however, after filing of the present petition, he was attacked by the private respondents and the MLR was also recorded but the police authorities are not taking any action in the matter. 4.

In light of the above, the present petition stands disposed of with direction to respondents No. 3 & 4 to look into the representation dated 18.09.2023 (Annexures P-3 and P-4) and also the MLR which the petitioner shall submit to the authorities and they shall proceed in accordance against the private respondents if they are found in violation of PARUL 2024.01.12 15:36 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document law.

It is made clear that filing or pendency of this petition or any order/direction passed in this petition shall not be an alibi or defence to the petitioner, in case, he is found involved in any illegal activity and the respondent-Authorities shall take appropriate action, in accordance with law.
