Seeking quashing of FIR, the petitioner has come up before this Court under Section 482 Cr.P.C.

After arguing for some time, counsel for the petitioners submits that he would be confining his prayer to the extent of deciding representation dated 17.10.2022 (Annexure P-2) reserving his right to take other legal remedies for remaining prayers.

3. Given the nature of the order that this Court proposes to pass, neither the response of official respondents nor the issuance of notices to the private respondents is required.

Let the representation dated 17.10.2022 (Annexure P-2) be decided by the concerned Superintendent of Police within thirty working days by passing a speaking and reasoned order, and the same will be communicated to the representationists without delay.

Liberty reserved to the petitioner to file fresh petition or to take other legal remedies in accordance with the law.

It is clarified that there is no adjudication on merits. It is further clarified that this order shall not come in the way if the interrogation of the petitioner is required in any cognizable case.
