ARVIND SINGH SANGWAN, J. (Oral) Prayer in the present petition filed under Section 439 Cr.P.C. is for grant of interim bail to attend the marriage of his sister in case FIR No.61 dated 2.5.2018 under Section 22 of the NDPS Act, registered at Police Station Shambu, District Patiala.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that the marriage of the sister of the petitioner is fixed for 12.11.2019 and he is the only brother. He also submits that this fact stands verified from the SHO, Police Station Shambu, District Patiala as per the report dated 2.10.2019 (AnnexureP-5). Learned State counsel has filed the custody certificate and as per the same, the petitioner is not involved in any other case. Accordingly, this petition is allowed, the petitioner is granted interim bail, subject to his furnishing bail/surety bonds to the satisfaction of the trial Court.

The petitioner will surrender before the trial Court on or before 15.11.2019 before 4.00 p.m.
