Dated Police Station Sections 18.12.2023 Cantt. Ferozepur 420, 465, 467, 468, 471, 120-B IPC, 1860 Seeking quashing of FIR captioned above, the petitioner had come up before this Court under Section 528, Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023. 2.

The limited ground for which the petitioner has approached this Court is that on the same set of allegations, two FIRs have been registered. 3.

Notice served upon the official respondent(s) through State counsel. Counsel for the State on instructions from ASI-Raman Kumar submits that there are two different FIRs based in two different districts, however, they come under the control of DIG, DistrictFerozepur. Allegations in both the FIR are same and also about the same transaction at different time cannot be said at this stage. State counsel further submits that investigation is underway, petitioner may approach the higher authority for clubbing of offence, if there is overlapping.

Given the nature of order this Court proposes to pass, no response is required from the official respondents.

Given above, the present petition is disposed of with permission to the petitioner to make a representation within a period of 15 days to Deputy Inspector General of Police, Ferozepur with a request to look into the matter. Further, in case, the petitioner files a representation within the stipulated period of 15 days, then DIG concerned to take decision by passing a speaking and reasoned order, within a period of 02 months Sonia Puri 2024.11.29 10:40 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
