G.S. SANDHAWALIA, J.(Oral) In pursuance of the last order dated 23.09.2024, status-report, by way of the affidavit of Block Development and Panchayat Officer, Indri, has been filed and the same is taken on record. 2.

Prayer in the present petition is for issuance of direction to the respondents to expedite the proceedings with regard to the encroachment made on the area reserved for Gair Mumkin Nalla on the strength of eviction order dated 27.10.2021 (Annexure P-4) passed by the Deputy Commissioner, Karnal.

As per the afore-mentioned status-report, the eviction order has been acted upon and the encroachment made upon the land in question YAG DUTT 2024.11.27 13:23 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment

CWP No.24412 of 2024 -2has been removed with the help of the JCB machine and vacant possession of the land has been handed over to the Gram Panchayat and a report dated 22.11.2024 (Annexure R-1) has also been prepared in this regard at the spot.

Keeping in view the above, we are of the considered opinion that the present petition has been rendered infructuous. 5.

Counsel for the petitioner has chosen not to put in appearance in the Court.
