1. The petitioners seek issuance of directions to respondents No.2 to 3 to protect their lives and liberty as they apprehend threat to the same at the hands of private respondents No.4 to 8.

2. Today, at the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that since FIR has already been lodged against petitioner No.2 - Ajay Singh, he may be permitted to withdraw the present petition. It has also been submitted that petitioner No.1 be produced before Child Welfare Committe.

3. In view of the aforesaid submission, the instant petition is dismissed as withdrawn.

4. However, the official respondents are directed to ensure that no harm is caused to petitioner No.1 - Reetu Kaur and that she is produced before Child Welfare Committe at Sri Muktsar Sahib.
