Prayer is for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case bearing FIR No.179 dated 19.07.2025 registered under Sections 118(1), 333, 115(2), 191(3), 190 of BNS, 2023 (Section (118(2) added later) (earlier Section 324, 452, 323, 148, 149 and 326 IPC) at Police Station Canal Colony, District Bathinda.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that pursuant to order dated 18.08.2025, the petitioner has joined the investigation and his custodial interrogation is no more required in this case. 3.

Learned State counsel has not refuted the aforesaid assertions made by learned counsel for the petitioner and further submits that the petitioner is not required by the police for further investigation or custodial interrogation.

In view of the above, without commenting on the merits of the case, the present petition is allowed and order of interim bail dated 18.08.2025 is hereby made absolute subject to the conditions as provided under Section 482(2) of the BNSS.
