Learned counsel representing respondent Nos.1 and 2 submits that in light of the fact that case FIR No.14 is still under investigation, the case of the petitioner for re-issuance/renewal of the passport can be considered in light of the observations made by Co-ordinate Bench of this Court in the case of "Mohan Lal @ Mohna Vs. Union of India and others", 2023 SCC Online P&H 1391.

Keeping in view the aforesaid submissions made by learned State counsel, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the present petition may be disposed of in the light of the observations made by a co-ordinate Bench of this Court in "Mohan Lal @ Mohna's case (supra). 6.

Keeping in view the statements made by respective counsels, the present petition is disposed of, by directing respondent Nos.1 and 2 to consider the case of the petitioner for renewal/re-issuance of passport in the light of judgment rendered in Mohan Lal @ Mohna's case (supra); and take a final decision on the application submitted by the petitioner for renewal/reissuance of his passport, within a period of eight weeks from today. 7.
