The petitioner through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India is seeking direction to respondent to issue him appointment letter as per compassionate appointment policy dated 21.11.2002 as amended.
The petitioner's father was working as Peon in the Department of School Education. He passed away on 01.02.2012. At the time of his death, the family was staying in a government accommodation. CWP No.23532 of 2025 -2applied for compassionate appointment. The respondent has informed that he would be considered as per his turn against 5% quota. The petitioner has served legal notice dated 25.03.2025 upon respondent seeking compassionate appointment.
