(ORAL) On 13.10.2025 i.e. the last date of hearing, the following order was passed: - "Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the appellant requests for an adjournment as arguing counsel is stated to be not available today. It is noticed that this appeal was filed way back in December, 2017 and since then the same is being adjourned at the request of the appellant for one or the other reason.

Adjourned to 20.11.2025 for the last time subject to cost of ₹10,000/- payable in Punjab and Haryana High Court, Employees Welfare Association bearing Account No.37167209613, SBI Branch, High Court Branch; IFSC Code.:SBIN0050306. Registry is directed not to entertain any further request." 2.

Today, nobody has put in appearance on behalf of the appellants. Even the cost, as imposed on the last date of hearing, has not been deposited, as reported by the Registry.

All these circumstances indicate that appellants are not interested in pursuing the present appeal. As such, the same is hereby dismissed in default for want of prosecution and also for want of compliance of the order dated 13.10.2025.
