(ORAL) Prayer in the instant petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is for issuance of directions to the official respondents not to unnecessarily harass the petitioner and his family members and in case the presence of the petitioner is required in connection with any investigation or enquiry, provision of Section 160 Cr.P.C. be complied with by giving him written notice in advance.

Mr. Tarun Aggarwal, Sr. DAG, Punjab, Ld. State Counsel appears on advance notice and on instructions from ASI Subhash Kumar submits that FIR No.0073, dated 2nd of September, 2023 has been lodged which has been placed on record by the petitioner himself as Annexure P-2. 3.
Faced with the situation, Mr. Arora submits that offence for which the petitioners have been booked is bailable and at this stage he will confine his prayer to the extent that in case the petitioners are required in the said case they be summoned by complying with the mandatory Deepak Kumar 2023.10.06 16:33 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
