Mr. Deepak Arora, Advocate appears on behalf of respondent No.3 (in COCP-4806-2018) and files Power of Attorney, which is taken on record.
It is very fairly submitted by learned counsel for the LRs No.(ii) and (iii) of the appellant that the entire disputes between the parties, who are real brothers, have been settled by way of Compromise dated 13.03.2022, whereby all civil and criminal disputes pending between the parties stand settled. A copy of the said compromise dated 13.03.2022 has been handed over in the Court, which is taken on record. It is further submitted by learned counsel for the LRs No.(ii) and (iii) of the appellant that all criminal cases filed by both parties against each other, stand quashed on the basis of the afore-said Compromise dated 13.03.2022, vide order dated 15.11.2023 passed by Co-ordinate Bench of this Court in CRM-M-19972-2022 titled as "Satnam Singh & Others Vs.
State of Punjab & Others"; in CRM-M-20413-2022 titled as "Harbhajan Singh & Others Vs. State of Punjab & Others" decided on 15.11.2023; CRM-M19976-2022 titled as "Paramjit Kaur & Another Vs. State of Punjab & Others" decided on 15.11.2023; and CRM-M-20175-2022 titled as "Harbhajan Singh & Others Vs. State of Punjab & Others" pronounced on 29.09.2022. It is accordingly prayed that the present appeal and the Contempt Petition may be disposed of in terms of the afore-said Compromise dated 13.03.2022. Learned counsel representing respondent No.3 Satnam Singh in the Contempt Petition No.4806 of 2018, does not dispute the aforesaid facts.
In view of the above, both the present cases are disposed of in terms of the afore-said Compromise. Needless to say, both the parties are bound by the terms of the compromise.
