NIDHI GUPTA, J. (ORAL) Prayer in this petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is for issuance of directions to respondents No. 1 and 2 to conduct fair and impartial investigation in case FIR No. 0111 dated 14.06.2023 (Annexure P-1) registered under Sections 406 and 498-A IPC at Police Station Dasuya, District Hoshiarpur.

At the very outset, on instructions from ASI Harpinder Singh, learned counsel for the State submits that the matter has been rendered infructuous as, after completion of investigation, challan in the present case was presented before the learned trial Court on 02.12.2023; whereafter charges have been framed against the accused on 01.04.2024; and next date of hearing before the trial Court is 17.09.2024, for recording prosecution evidence.

Perusal of the order sheets shows that on the first date of RISHU KATARIA 2024.08.22 19:41 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment.

CRM-M-53650-2023 -2hearing i.e. 20.10.2023, the petitioner had gone un-represented and the matter was adjourned for 29.02.2024; whereafter the matter was adjourned for today. Today, none has put in appearance on behalf of the petitioner, despite the case having been called twice. In view of the statement made by learned counsel for the State, no further directions are required to be issued in the matter and the same stands disposed of, accordingly.
