Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is not involved in this case but he is unnecessarily harassed by the Investigating officers. He moved a representation to the Superintendent of Police but no action has been taken so far.

Mr. Subhash Godara, Additional Advocate General, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of respondent-State and submitted that the petitioner and co-accused are residing in the same house. The accused are at large and the police visited their residence to apprehend them.

Keeping in view the above facts and circumstances, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No. 2 to look into the representation of the petitioner and take necessary action in accordance with law.
