At the outset, Mr. Mohd. Salim, Advocate has put in appearance and filed his Vakalatnama on behalf of respondents No. 4 to 7 in Court today, which is taken on record, subject to all just exceptions. 2.

In compliance of order dated 05.10.2023, the parties are present and have interacted and the detenue has submitted that she is happy in live-in relationship with the boy namely Mohd. Nadeem i.e. respondent No. 4.

The petitioner who is present in Court submits that the only difficulty is that respondent No. 4 is 19 years old and has yet not attained the age of marriage.

The detenue has been counselled and assures that she will keep in touch with her parents on regular basis, so that they are also aware about PARUL 2023.11.14 17:41 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document

In light of the above, the present petition stands disposed of, with direction to respondent No. 2-The Senior Superintendent of Police, Jalandhar (Rural) to look into the matter and assess the threat perception, if any, to the detenue and respondent No. 4 and take appropriate steps in accordance with law.
