HARSH BUNGER, J. (ORAL) Prayer in the present petition, filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure is for issuance of direction to official respondents No.2 and 3 to restrain respondents No.4 and 5 from abusing and threatening the petitioner by visiting his house due to pending litigation against him regarding which he has already made two complaints dated 09.09.2022 and 11.10.2022 (Annexure P-2 and P-3, respectively). Short reply by way of an affidavit of Sh. Gurpartap Singh Sahota, PPS, Assistant Commissioner of Police, East, Amritsar City on behalf of respondents No.1 to 3, has been filed in the Court today, which is taken on record, subject to all just exceptions. In view of the said reply, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he may be permitted to withdraw the present petition with liberty to take recourse to the remedy(ies) as available to the petitioner in accordance with law.

In view of the above, the present petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty as aforementioned.
