HARINDER SINGH SIDHU, J It is the case of the petitioner that he submitted an application dated 16.01.2020 for grant of licence for setting up of a industrial plotted colony within the revenue estate of village Patti Kalyana, Tehsil Samalkha, District Panipat. The request of the petitioner was considered and vide communication dated 02.04.2021 (P.7), he was required to submit certain documents apart from removing certain discrepancies.

Ms. Tanisha Peshawaria, DAG, Haryana accepts notice on behalf of the respondents-State of Haryana. She, on instructions, states that the application of the petitioner for grant of licence is still pending consideration. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and on perusal of the pleadings raised herein, present petition is disposed of, directing respondent No.2-Director, Town & Country Planning, Haryana to take a decision on the application of the petitioner expeditiously preferably within a period of two months. Before passing an order, the petitioner would be afforded an effective opportunity of hearing. The deficiencies be pointed out to him and he be given time to remove the same.
