This is a petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for direction to respondent Nos.2 and 3 to protect life and liberty of the petitioner at the hands of private respondent No.4. 2.

Learned counsel states that the petitioner has filed a representation dated 21.07.2025 (Annexure P-1) requesting to provide adequate security to save his life and he will be satisfied if the Senior Superintendent of Police, S.A.S. Nagar, Mohali i.e. respondent No.2 is directed to look into the representation dated 21.07.2025 (Annexure P-1), made to him by them and take appropriate action on the same. 3.

Petitioner has started construction of a house in the year 2015, which got completed in the year 2017 and in the year 2016 and 2017 the petitioner had purchased timber wood from the shop of respondent No.4. All payment towards the price of timber wood purchased from the shop of respondent No.4 were made by the petitioner at the time of purchase i.e. in the year 2016-2017 and nothing remains due. Respondent No.4 came to the house of petitioner on 16.07.2025 and said that on being checking the account books, purchased amount has not been paid.  direction to respondent No.2 to decide representation moved by the petitioner (Annexure P-1) within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order and grant him protection, if there is any threat to his life and liberty.
