On 18.08.2025, following order was passed by this Court:- By virtue of the present petition, the petitioner is seeking relief of pre arrest bail in a case bearing FIR No. 365 dated 23.09.2022 under Sections 394, 323, 325, 148, 149 IPC at Police Station Goindwal Sahib, District Tarn Taran.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case. Even if the allegations of the complainant are taken to be true at its face value, no specific role has been attributed to petitioner-Daljit Singh except that he was member of an unlawful assembly which unleashed attack on the complainant. Attention of the Court was drawn to the contents of the FIR wherein the complainant had alleged that co-accused Simar son of Kabul Pardhan, hit him with


 a datar on his head.

Learned counsel next submitted that on account of intervention made by the family members, the matter has now been compromised vide Compromise deed Ex.P2 annexed with the petition.

Mr. Kamalpreet Bawa, DAG Punjab accepts notice on behalf of State of Punjab and seeks time to file status report/reply. 6.

Ms. Gurpreet Kaur, Advocate has filed power of attorney on behalf of respondents No. 2 and 3 and endorsed the factum of compromise having been entered into between the parties. 7.

In the meanwhile, the petitioner is directed to join the investigation as and when required to do so by the Investigating Agency. In the event of his arrest, the petitioner shall be released on ad-interim bail, subject to his furnishing bail bonds to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer. The petitioner shall also be abide by all the conditions laid down under Section 482(2) of BNSS, 2023 (earlier Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.).
