(Oral) The present petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India inter alia seeking issuance of writ in the nature of Mandamus for directing respondents No.2 and 3 to take action against respondents No.6 to 10 in terms of Section 20 of the Punjab Panchayati Raj Act, 1994 who are alleged to be not attending meetings of the Gram Panchayat.

1.1 A further prayer has been made for directing respondents No.2 and 3 to decide the representation dated 14.03.2025 (Annexure P-12) in a time bound manner.

At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner would be satisfied, if appropriate directions are issued to the concerned authorities to decide the representation dated 14.03.2025 (Annexure P-12) submitted by the petitioner, in a time bound manner. 3.

Keeping in view the aforesaid statement made by learned State counsel, the present writ petition is disposed of accordingly. 6.
