NIDHI GUPTA, J. (ORAL) Prayer in this Criminal Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, is for issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus directing respondents No. 2 to 4 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner at the hands of private respondents No. 5 to 7. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that at this stage, he would be satisfied if direction is issued to respondent No.3-Senior Superintendent of Police, SAS Nagar Mohali, to consider and take a final decision on representations dated 24.08.2023 (Annexures P-3 and P-4) made by the petitioner in a time bound manner. Notice of motion.

Mr. Shubham Kaushik, AAG, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of respondents No. 1 to 4 and submits that he has no objection in case the prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner at this stage, is accepted.
