***** JASJIT SINGH BEDI, J. (Oral) The prayer in the present petition is for issuance of directions to respondents No.2 and 3 to protect the lives and liberties of the petitioners which is in danger at the hands of respondents No.4 to 9. The learned counsel for the State of Punjab submits that a reply dated 16.12.2019 has already been filed, which is on record. As per the aforesaid reply, the son of petitioners No.1 and 2 namely Jaskaran Singh has been declared a proclaimed person and is, otherwise, an accused in as many as 11 cases.

As per the learned State counsel, there is absolutely no threat to the lives and liberties of the petitioners and the present petition has been filed to protect their son-Jaskaran Singh from the police and to put pressure on them not to act against Jaskaran Singh.

In this view of the matter, no further orders are required to be passed by this Court.

The present petition stands disposed of.
