HARINDER SINGH SIDHU, J Petitioners have filed this petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for quashing of FIR No.132 dated 26.09.2019 under Sections 420,465,467,468,471,120-B IPC registered at P.S Dayalpura, District Bathinda and all other consequential proceedings arising out of the said FIR, as the matter stands amicably settled in terms of compromise deed dated 16.10.2019.

Vide order dated 24.10.2019, the parties were directed to appear before the trial Court/Illaqa Magistrate on 28.11.2019 for getting their statements recorded with regard to the compromise and the learned trial Court was directed to send its report about the genuineness and veracity of the compromise.

A report dated 04.03.2020 of learned JMIC, Phul has been received. As per the report, the parties had appeared before learned JMIC and got recorded their statements regarding compromise. Learned Magistrate has stated that he is of the considered view that the compromise effected between the parties is valid, genuine, voluntary and without any coercion or undue influence.
