**** ASHOK KUMAR VERMA , J. (ORAL) The petitioner has filed the present petition under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 for grant of anticipatory bail in case FIR No.64 dated 22.08.2022 registered under Section 379 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 and Sections 21(1) and 4(1) of the Mines and Minerals (Regulation and Development) Act, 1957 at Police Station Chamkaur Sahib, District Rupnagar.

Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Mohan Singh, submits that in pursuance of order dated 15.11.2022 passed by the Coordinate Bench of this Court, the petitioner has joined the investigation and is no longer required for custodial interrogation. In view of the above facts, but without commenting on the merits of the case, the present petition is allowed and the order dated 15.11.2022 granting interim anticipatory bail to the petitioner is made absolute, subject to the conditions laid down in Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.
