1. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are entitled to revision of their pension on the basis of the Policy dated 4.7.2019 (Annexure P-2) issued by Government of Punjab, which is applicable to all those employees who had retired between 01.01.2006 to 30.11.2011 and since the petitioners had retired during the said period, the benefits arising out of the said policy are required to be extended to the petitioners.

2. It has been submitted that although the petitioners submitted representation dated 13.6.2023 (Annexure P-5), but to no avail.

4. Upon asking of the Court, Mr. Inderpreet Singh Kang, AAG, Punjab, who is present in the Court accepts notice.

5. Having regard to the nature of order, this Court intends to pass, this Court does not feel necessary to call for response from the State. The petition, as such, is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.6-Accountant General (A&E), Punjab to consider and dispose of the representation dated 13.6.2023 (Annexure P-5) expeditiously preferably within a period of 4 months from today. In case any payment is found due to be paid to the petitioners, the same shall be paid within 2 months from the decision of such representation along with interest @ 5% per annum.
