The petitioner assails judgment dated 22.8.2024 passed by learned Additional Sessions Judge, Fast Track Special Court, Ludhiana vide which an appeal filed by the petitioner assailing his conviction for offences under Sections 323, 341 and 325 of Indian Penal Code as recorded by learned Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Ludhiana vide judgment and order of sentence dated 4.10.2018, has been dismissed.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the matter has been amicably resolved amongst the parties.

Mr. Akashdeep Miglani, Advocate has put in appearance on behalf of respondent No.2/complainant and has filed Power of Attorney, which is taken on record. He has endorsed the factum of compromise. CRR-1874-2024 (O&M) ( 2 ) respondent No.2/complainant submitted that respondent No.2/complainant does not have any objection in case the present revision petition is accepted and the petitioner is acquitted of the charges. 4.

Respondent No.2/complainant - Manmohan Singh is also present in person, who has been idendified by learned counsel representing respondent No.2 and has also furnished a photocopy of his self attested Aadhar Card, which is taken on record. He has also stated that the matter has been amicably resolved amongst the parties and he has no objection in case the present revision petition is accepted and the petitioner is acquitted of the charges framed against him.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case especially the fact that the complainant and the petitioner have amicably resolved the matter and that the complainant has no objection in case the present revision petition is accepted, the instant revision petition is allowed and the offences are hereby compounded. Consequently, judgment dated 22.8.2024 passed by learned Additional Sessions Judge, Fast Track Special Court, Ludhiana as well as judgment and order of sentence dated 4.10.2018 passed by learned Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Ludhiana are hereby set aside. The accused/petitioner is acquitted of all the charges framed against him. 6.
