(ORAL) By way of present petition, prayer has been made for issuance of a direction to the respondents to release the amount of compensation in pursuance to the Award dated 21.05.1998 on account of acquisition of land held by the petitioner. In response, written statement has been filed by Sh.Chander Mohan, Land Acquisition Collector, Urban Estate, Rohtak, on behalf of respondents No.1 to 3 to the effect that amount of compensation already stands released in favour of the petitioner way-back in the year 1998 itself.

In view thereof, no cause survives in favour of the petitioner and thus, the present writ petition is disposed of as having been rendered infructuous.
