Present writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, inter alia, for directing the respondents to decide the disciplinary proceedings pending against the petitioner and further to grant her pension as well as gratuity till the final decision of above proceedings. At the outset, learned State Counsel, on instructions from Mr. Vinod Kumar, Senior Assistant, Office of DPI (SE), Punjab, assures the Court that disciplinary proceedings in pursuance of charge-sheet dated 05.05.2010 shall be concluded in accordance with law by 31.03.2023. In view of above stand, present writ petition is disposed off accordingly.
