-.- KARAMJIT SINGH , J. (Oral) Prayer is for grant of anticipatory bail in case having FIR No.20 dated 17.9.2022 registered under Sections 306 IPC at Police Station GRP, Faridkot District Faridkot.

The allegations in nutshell are that Hardeep Singh son-in-law of petitioner No.1 and brother-in-law of petitioner No.2 committed suicide by jumping in front of moving train. That the wife and in-laws of the deceased were persistently harassing him and compelled him to commit suicide and before ending his life the deceased sent WhatsApp message on the mobile phone of his brother wherein also he held his wife and in-laws responsible for his death.

( 2 ) CRM-M-52498-2022 On the last date of hearing detailed order was passed by this Court while granting interim bail to the petitioners with further direction to join investigation with the police.

Counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have joined investigation with the police in compliance of the aforesaid order passed by this Court.

State counsel on instructions from SI Yash Pal Singh submits that the petitioners have joined the investigation and are not required by police for further investigation or for custodial interrogation and on completion of investigation, challan has been presented in the Court concerned by the police.

It is a matter of evidence as to whether the petitioners were having any intention that the deceased should end his life by committing suicide. Further, the petitioners are not required by the police for any more investigation.

In view of the above, without commenting on the merits of the case, the present petition is hereby allowed and order dated 15.11.2022 is hereby made absolute. The petitioners should abide by the conditions envisaged under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
