The instant petition has been filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.81 dated 13.09.2019 registered under Sections 406, 498-A, 506 IPC at Police Station Women, District Jalandhar.

By an order dated 23.10.2019 while issuing notice of motion, this Court had granted interim bail to the petitioner and directed him to join investigation.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the matter has been compromised between the petitioner and respondent No.2 and a decree of divorce has already been passed. 4.

In view of the fact that the matter has already been compromised between the petitioner and respondent No.2 and a decree of divorce has also been obtained, the instant petition is allowed and the order dated 23.10.2019 granting interim bail to the petitioner is made absolute, subject to the conditions laid down in Section 438 (2) Cr.P.C.
