Learned counsel for the petitioner contended that the petitioner was cheated and duped by respondents no. 5 to 7 and regarding this he made a complaint in the month of January, 2025. The matter was settled between the parties but respondents had not complied with the terms and conditions of the compromise and not even returned the compromised amount. Again he moved an application to respondent no. 4 but no action has been taken so far. Further there is a cognizable offence committed by the respondents and there are forged and fabricated documents, i.e., issuance of fake visa etc. He further submits that at this stage, he would be satisfied if the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No. 2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Kapurthala to take a decision on the representation SEEMA 2025.08.26 18:39 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

Learned State counsel, who appears on advance notice, has no objection if the above prayer is accepted.

Accordingly, at this stage, keeping in view the contentions made by learned counsel for the petitioner and without commenting on the merits of the case, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No. 2 to take a decision on the aforesaid representation submitted on behalf of the petitioner, in accordance with law. 5.

Needless to add that the decision so taken be communicated to the petitioner and if the same is not to the satisfaction of the petitioner, he would be at liberty to challenge the same, in accordance with law.
