NIDHI GUPTA, J. (ORAL) Prayer in this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is for issuance of direction to respondent No. 3 not to harass, threaten, mentally torture the petitioner and put undue pressure upon him to compromise the matrimonial dispute with his wife.
At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the instant petition may be disposed of in view of averments made in short reply dated 07.02.2023 filed by way of affidavit of Sh. Rakesh Kumar, PPS, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Crime Against Women and Children, Amritsar City, especially, as per Annexure R-3/T, whereby the District Attorney (Legal), Amritsar, has opined that on the basis of enquiry, no cognizable offence was made out against the accused.
