***** NIDHI GUPTA, J. (ORAL) Prayer in this 1st petition under Section 438 of IPC is for grant of Anticipatory Bail to the petitioner in the event of arrest in case F.I.R No. 180, Dated 19.09.2023, under Section 376 of IPC 1860 registered at Police Station Lehra, District Sangrur, (Annexure P-1). Learned counsel for the State, on instructions from ASI Mahinder Singh, informs this Court that pursuant to order dated 09.10.2023 passed by this Court, whereby the petitioner was granted interim bail, the petitioner has joined investigation on 18.10.2023; challan has been presented on 07.11.2023; and charges have been framed on 15.12.2023. It is submitted that it has been wrongly recorded in order dated 06.03.2024 that the petitioner had joined investigation on 08.01.2024. Learned counsel for the State, further informs, on instructions, that the date of incident in the present case is 15.09.2023, however medical examination was conducted on 20.09.2023 and FSL report was stated to be negative.

On the last date of hearing i.e. 03.07.2024, none appeared on behalf of the petitioner. Today also, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner.

In view of the submissions made by learned counsel for the State, the present petition stands disposed of as having been rendered infructuous.
