(ORAL) The instant petition has been filed by the petitioner under Section 438 Cr.P.C. seeking the concession of anticipatory bail in case FIR No.128 dated 20.08.2023 for the offences under Sections 457 and 380 of the IPC registered at Police Station City Batala, Batala. Vide order dated 07.10.2023, the petitioner had been granted interim anticipatory bail with direction to join investigation and the relevant part of the said order reads as under:- "Learned counsel for the petitioner inter alia contends that it was on account of some misguided suspicion the petitioner has been named in the FIR in question for allegedly committing theft of some household articles from the house of the complainant. He further submits that the petitioner is ready to join investigation and cooperate with the investigating agency."
