Versus

State of Punjab and others . . . Respondent(s)

CORAM:

HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE SANJAY VASHISTH PRESENT: Mr. Talwinder Singh, Advocate for the petitioner(s).

Mr. Neeraj Madaan, Sr. DAG, Punjab.

**** SANJAY VASHISTH , J. (Oral) 1.

By way of the present petition filed under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India, petitioner is seeking a direction to respondent No.2 to protect his life and liberty at the hands of respondents No.3 to 5. Petitioner further prays that respondent No.5 be directed not to harass or humiliate him by repeatedly calling him to the police station at the instance of respondents No.3 and 4, and also not to interfere with the life and liberty of the petitioner.

2.

The dispute is entirely of civil nature between the brothers. Even the interim stay is already there in favour of the petitioner, still, counsel for the petitioner submits that respondent No.5 - SHO, Police Station Ajitwal, District Moga, is harassing the petitioner by calling him time and again in the police station and causing interference into the proceedings of the civil case.

3.

After hearing counsel for the petitioner and perusing the case file, this Court finds that no ground is made out to entertain any such prayer JAWALA RAM 2025.08.20 19:30 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document
