By way of present petition filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, challenge has been laid to an order dated 14.08.2024 (Annexure P-3) passed by the Family Court, Pataudi, Gurugram, whereby a sum of Rs.10,000/- per month has been ordered to be paid to the respondentwife as maintenance under Section 24 of the Hindu Marriage Act in a divorce petition filed at the instance of petitioner-husband. 2.

Having argued for sometime, learned counsel for the petitioner does not press the present petition at this stage, however, prays for issuance of direction to the trial Court to conclude the proceedings in the divorce petition filed at the instance of petitioner-husband at the earliest as the same is pending consideration before the Family Court at Pataudi, for the past more than 2 years.

Considering the young age of the parties and the fact that marriage took place on 15.03.2021, the Family Court is requested to conclude the proceedings arising out of the divorce petition as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of 1 year from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.

Disposed of accordingly.
