Versus

Vijay Shanker ......Respondent

Present:

Mr. Suvir Kumar, Advocate for the petitioner.

Mr. Parminder Singh, Advocate for the respondent.

CORAM:HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE K. KANNAN 1.

Whether Reporters of local papers may be allowed to see the judgment ?

2.

To be referred to the Reporters or not ?

3.

Whether the judgment should be reported in the Digest? -.- K. KANNAN J. (ORAL) 1.

The petition for transfer is sought by the wife on the ground that she is living away at Amritsar and the case is now instituted in Mohali which is far away nearly 250 kms. The counsel for the respondent states that she has parents living in Mohali, she was living in Mohali and even the summons were served at Mohali and she has now shifted herself to Amritsar only for the purpose of filing this petition. I see that she has enough relatives at Mohali to comfortably contest the case at Mohali itself and I find no compulsive reasons for transferring the petition to Amritsar.

2.

The transfer application is dismissed.
