The petition for transfer of the matrimonial proceedings is sought by the wife which are pending before the Court at Jagadhari. The petitioner states that there is already a petition for maintenance pending in the Court at Jalandhar and the respondent is contesting the same. The respondent-husband has been served but he has not put any appearance to contest the petitioner's plea.

The transfer application is allowed as prayed for and the proceedings pending before the Court at Jagadhari is ordered to be withdrawn and transferred to the Family Court at Jalandhar for disposal in accordance with law. For appearance of the parties before the Family Court at Jalandhar on 22.05.2015.
