This petition has been filed under Section 528 of BNSS to direct the official respondents to conduct independent, fair, impartial investigation in FIR No. 0222 dated 30.12.2022 under Sections 406,420,120-B of the IPC, 1860 registered at Police Station City Samana, District Patiala; to call for the status report. 2.

Status report by way of an affidavit of Fateh Singh Brar, PPS, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Circle Samana, District Patiala, has been filed on behalf of respondent Nos. 1 to 3 in Court today and the same is taken on record. 3.

As per the status report, investigation has been conducted fairly, impartially and transparently in accordance with law. The challan against accused Sandeep Goyal @ Bittu Goyal is prepared and shall be filed shortly. Arrest warrants have been obtained against absconding accused Rahul Sood. 4.
