The petition is for transfer of the proceedings filed under Section 9 of the Hindu Marriage Act by the husband even when the petition for divorce is pending, filed at the instance of the wife against the husband in the Court at Ludhiana. The respondent has been served but he has not entered appearance to counter the petitioner's plea. 2.

The transfer application is allowed. The proceedings pending before the District Court at Barnala are ordered to be withdrawn and transferred to the Family Court at Ludhiana. For appearance of the parties before the Court at Family Court, Ludhiana on 25.05.2015.
