(Oral) Prayer in this petition filed under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 is for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.110 dated 10.07.2019 under Sections 406/498-A IPC registered at Police Station Kamboj, District Amritsar Rural. Vide order dated 24.10.2019, while staying the arrest of the petitioner, the matter was referred to the Mediation and Conciliation Centre of this Court and the parties were directed to appear before the Mediation Centre. Pursuant thereto, report of the mediator has been received, wherein ASHWANI KUMAR 2020.01.23 11:54 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
Criminal Misc. No. M-45514 of 2019 -2the matter has been compromised between the parties. The report is accompanied with settlement/compromise dated 08.01.2020. Considering the fact that the matter has been compromised between the parties and the settlement/compromise has been reduced into writing before the mediator, the present petition is allowed and the interim order dated 24.10.2019 is made absolute.
In case the petitioner is required in the case in any manner, a clear 15 days notice be given to him so as to enable him to approach the appropriate forum, if required.
