(Oral) The present petition has been filed by the petitioner under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, seeking a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to club the work-charge service of the petitioner with regular period for the purposes of pensionary benefits as per Finance Circular dated 29.07.1997 (Annexure P-3). Further prayer has been made to direct the respondents to refix the pension of the petitioner after counting the work-charge period of service of the petitioner and to release the arrears of pension along with interest @ 18% per annum on delayed payment of pensionary benefits i.e. Pension, Gratuity, Provident Fund, Leave Encashment, etc. After arguing the case for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner wishes to withdraw the present petition with liberty to file afresh one, on the same cause of action, with better particulars.
