(ORAL) Petition herein filed under section 482 Cr.P.C. is for issuance of directions to learned Trial Court to conclude the trial expeditiously in criminal case FIR No. 136 dated 09.10.2018, registered under Section 61 of Punjab Excise Act, 1914 at Police Station, Dhanaula, District Barnala.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is 21-year old young boy and has passed 12th class. He has to go abroad for further studies. Due to pendency of the FIR in question, he is not able to go for further studies. He further submits that he has been falsely implicated in the present case being a son of main accused in said FIR.

Learned State counsel, at the outset, submits that accused are not appearing in learned trial Court. On a Court query, he submits that out of 12 prosecution witnesses, none has been examined so far.

Petition is disposed of with an expectation that learned trial Court shall proceed further in accordance with law without granting unnecessary adjournments at the instance of either prosecution or the accused, subject, of course to the exigency of work before it, owing to which Court is at liberty to grant adjournment on its own. 5.

Disposed of, accordingly.
