There appears to be no way out for the learned counsel for the petitioner in the transfer application faced with the interim order dated May 02, 2014 where request for transfer proceedings were substantially declined and notice of motion was issued to explore the possibility of settlement. Learned counsel for the petitioning husband has not been able to put forth any constructive steps towards settlement which they are in any case free to resort to before the matrimonial court or before the Mediation & Conciliation Centre of the Sessions Division where the petition remains pending.
