Dated Police Station Sections 1.8.2021 Nehianwala, District Bathinda 457/480/427 IPC The petitioner apprehending arrest in the FIR captioned above, has come up before this Court under Section 438 CrPC seeking anticipatory bail. Petitioner's counsel submits that the petitioner has complied with the order dated 22.2.2023, however, he submits that time be extended to comply with the directions issued in paragraphs 14 and 15 of the order dated 15.2.2023. State counsel, on instructions from ASI Vishnu Dass does not dispute that the petitioner has joined the investigation.
Given the undertaking of the petitioner made through his counsel, the present petition is allowed of and interim order is made absolute. Time is extended to comply with the directions issued in paragraphs 14 and 15 of the order dated 15.2.2023 till 15.3.2023. Petitioner is directed to appear before the IO on 10.3.2023. It is clarified that in case the above conditions are not complied with, as aforesaid, the bail granted to the petitioner may be cancelled by this Court. State shall also be at liberty to make an application for cancellation of bail if the above conditions are not complied with. There would be no need for a certified copy of this order and any Advocate for the petitioner can download this order along with case status from the official web page of this Court and attest it to be a true copy. In case the attesting officer wants to verify the authenticity, such an officer can also verify its authenticity and may download and use the downloaded copy for attesting bonds.
