No one appears for the respondent despite directions issued on March 26, 2015 in the presence of the learned counsel for the respondent. It appears that the husband is in no mood to attempt a reconciliation process through the mediation centre.

The petition for restitution of conjugal rights under Section 9 of the Hindu Marriage Act has been filed by the husband in the Court at Nawanshahar while the wife resides in Chandigarh. She is present in Court and has a baby in her arms. It appears ex-facie that she will be put to trouble and inconvenience to face proceedings at Nawanshahar which is about 90 kms. distant from Chandigarh. In these circumstances and especially looking to the baby girl born to the couple, the petition is ordered to be transferred from Nawanshahar to Chandigarh.
